501 Congress Condos Austin are to be completed in 2009 with 47 floors, 700 feet tall, 200 units, mixed use plan includes retail, commercial, hotel, and condominiums.  The total square footage is going to be 925,000 ft, the largest of it's kind at the time of planning.  It will be twice the size of the Frost Tower.  Designed by the architecture firm Pelli Clarke Pelli who designed the Petronas Towers and the Museum of Modern Art and Museum Tower in New York City. 

 

The least expensive unit will be around $500,000, around $500-$600 per foot.

 

There will be a concierge, gym, and secured parking.  There will be a 250 unit hotel included in the building and the condominiums will have access to the hotel amenities.
